How do you know when it’s time to go for anger management classes?

I don’t really have any details, but when do you know, aside from a court order of course?

Anyone know, or have personal experience?

When everything you do, people you know and do not know and situations piss you off at every turn. Then it’s time to seek professional help.

I think when anger resorts to violence, physical or mental (in the form of emotional and psychological torture), it’s time to seek help. Yes, I have experience with a relative.

I agree with Txlady. Unfortunately, the ones who need to go are usually the ones who think they don’t. That’s why my ex-husband is my ex.

I love your question! Very thought provoking. I think when you have anger that you cannot control then anger management would be useful. This does not mean you have resorted to violence, it can be pent up anger, tantrums on your own even, through to yelling at loved ones over silly things. I think when you are being violent it is a definite sign, but I am sure symptoms existed before the violence. Best to get help as soon as symptoms arise.

You need anger management whenever you feel the need to beat the crap out of someone.

Before you hurt someone. Also, anger is related to heart disease, so even if you’re not hurting anyone with your anger, you may be hurting yourself.

My personal experience with secularism is that everything is defined as anger including truthful observation. It’s the cake man cult it’s your dime.
